N Mokonyane joins volunteers during public service strike



Mokonyane joined some hundred volunteers for a long day's work at the Dunswart provincial laundry.

On Wednesday, Mokonyane accompanied by MECs of Agriculture and Rural Development and Infrastructure Development, Nandi Mayathula-Khoza and Nonhlanhla Mazibuko, rolled up their sleeves and assisted with the washing and ironing of hospital laundry.

As the public service strike continues to cripple services in public institutions, Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will tomorrow on Wednesday, 25 August 2010, roll up her sleeves and assist with washing of the hospital laundry at the Dunswart Provincial Laundry in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg.
