Morkel reacts to MEC Meyer's resignation

Minister Piet Meyer informed me this morning of his decision to resign from the Western Cape Cabinet. Instead of sacrificing his principles and succumbing to the enormous pressure currently placed on Cabinet Members from the outside, Minister Meyer decided to withdraw from Cabinet and stay on as an ordinary Member of the Provincial Parliament. Morkel invited to address SA Business Forum in Hong Kong
